The presentation will last approximately 1 hour. Ms. Austin is a fabric artist, as well as a storyteller and teacher. She also does workshops on African-American history and culture as expressed through her art. She will be at Grinnell College that week and is also presenting in our community. The lecture/ trunk show will be free to the public. Please let other people know who may be interested.

4 Day Workshop with Esterita Austin
Date: July 10-13, 2008 10-5 pm
Cost: 4 day workshop $295 which includes lunch for the 4 days
Esterita is an art teacher by education and a very talented, fun and generous educator.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS APRIL 30 Payment for the workshop will be needed with registration to ensure your spot.
Policies for Realism to Abstract workshop: No Refunds with the exception of the workshop cancellation. Frequent Buyer Cards may not be used for payment, or purchase credit.
ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THE ESTERITA AUSTIN WORKSHOP
A block of dormitory rooms have been reserved for the workshop
Reservations may be made at Grinnell College for any or all nights from July 9 through July 13, with an early checkout on Monday.
•Cost is $21/night for a single room (1 twin bed)
•$34/night for a double room (2 twin beds)
•Linens will be provided, including sheets, pillows, towels and washcloths.
•As it is a dormitory, there are communal bathrooms for each floor to share.
•Workshop guests will be housed in the same dorm if possible.

CLASSES
We offer an assortment of classes; jewelry and doll sculpture, thread embellishments, fabric collage, free motion quilting, machine appliqué. We also offer basic sewing, quilting, and beading classes on a regular basis. We can arrange one-on-one classes for our customers in several areas. Call the shop to discuss your options.
